StoneWind Retreat is located on a 160-acre mountain top with over a mile of walking trails, numerous stone circles, standing stones, and plenty of other things to see if you like to get out and about. We invite our Guests to enjoy it all--or simply bask in the quiet peace of the cabin. At StoneWind Retreat we value comfort and privacy. Your yurt is yours to enjoy; we are available at a phone call if you need something or have questions. Otherwise you can enjoy the privacy of your cabin, deck, and hot tub. We do check the hot tub chemicals once a day around noon but we come onto the deck quietly, get it done, and leave quietly. You can also choose to take one of our 3-hr classes in either meditation or qigong. There is an additional $150 fee for any of the classes. A new and cute cabin in the woods near Winslow, AR yet just 30 minutes from Fayetteville, AR. Great for a Razorback Football weekend, BB & BBQ, a weekend away, or a family gathering. There are 3 cabins available so share with your family and friends and have a great gathering for the weekend. We HIGHLY recommend 4 wheel drive -- the current road down is very rocky but is very doable when you go slow. The cabin is stocked with linens, dishes, TV&DVD player BUT NO WIFI. We are able to easily get a data signal on our personal phones. 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 large open loft with a queen bed, a full-size sleeper sofa and a carpeted small loft that is great for sleeping bags.

Grandma's cabin is a "tiny cabin" with all the needs for comfortable stay at a cabin in the woods. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country but just 2 miles off of the interstate for easy access. Located just a few miles away from Devil's Den State Park for great hiking and ATV trails. You will enjoy the feel of being far away from civilization YET be just 10 minutes from a grocery store and 25 minutes from Fayetteville and all the restaurants and shopping you might desire. We are in a small residential area in a sleepy town of 800 people. The backyard backs up to an empty field. We are across the street from a church and down the road from a middle school. Altus is the heart of Arkansas wine country with 5 wineries (plus one 20 minutes away) and some neat little festivals. Our home is walking distance to downtown Altus Park, Kelts, Post Winery and The Trellis Room. It is a few miles from other local wineries. There is a nice view of St. Mary's Catholic Church (on Historic Registry)from our backyard and it is 2 miles away. You can drive 30 minutes to get to Mulberry Mountain and Turner Bend and another 15 minutes to get to Byrds.

We're located 20 Minutes from Fort Smith and Old Town Van Buren. These cities have historic landmarks and places of interest, including Judge Parker's courthouse and gallows, Miss Laura's former bordello, lots of shopping and restaurants. We're also about 45 Minutes from Fayetteville and the Springdale/Rogers areas; we have easy access about 2 miles off Interstate 40. Our pricing is based on 4 adults, with kids staying free. For more than 4 adults, there will be a $25 per person per night charge, and this will be paid on arrival for the entire stay. We also have a $25 per pet fee, with one being allowed to pay on the website through the booking fee. Additional pet fees will be paid on arrival, and this is a one-time charge for the stay. This is a nice established home w/new furnishings and comfortable bedding and seating. TV's are provided w/internet stations and access to Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and Peacock. We have a fully fenced yard w/a small patio and grilling area, with charcoal and a grill provided. Our kitchen includes a coffee maker with coffee, cream and sugar, microwave oven, full stove and full-size refrigerator. We provide basic pots and pans, dishes, flatware and drinkware for eight, along with paper/plastic options if you prefer. There is a covered carport and a gravel drive inside the gates. With a space in front of the house as well as being located on a cul-de-sac, there is extra parking available. We have locks for the gates if needed. This property is suitable for both large (can sleep 20) and small groups. ** Please contact us for special discounted rates for groups of 6 or less. Kick off your shoes and relax at a spacious vacation home in the woods. To get to this secluded property you do have to drive on a gravel road. It is a bit bumpy but relax, drive slowly and enjoy your ride through the woods. Once you have arrived you may not want to leave. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning and listen to the birds sing and watch the deer in the yard. If it is a chilly fall or winter month enjoy your cup of coffee or hot chocolate in the living room in front of the fireplace. There are many ways to spend your day - relaxing by the pool, hiking in the woods or fishing in the pond. For the kids - there are 2 outdoor play areas with swings, slides, a climbing rope and more. Also, there is a game room at the main house with a ping-pong table, air hockey table, foosball table and a hoop shoot. If you are looking for some quiet time, there are 3 televisions, each with a DVD player, in the house and an extensive collection of DVDs. There is a Wii game system. There are lots of books and magazines available and plenty of spaces in the house for reading and/or napping. There are games for the entire family and toys for the kids. Pool season is May 11 through October 1. The pool has a large deck with a hot tub and a pool house. The pool has a waterfall and there is a good supply of pool toys. There are lots of tables and chairs to relax in. The pool house has two full bathrooms with pool towels. In the pool house there is a small refrigerator and a microwave you can use for snacks and cold drinks. The pool house also has an infrared sauna. After a full day of relaxing and having fun, use one of the 3 grills (1 at the house and 2 on the pool deck) to cook a delicious dinner. When evening comes, sit in rocking chairs on the porch, watch the sunset, soak in one of the two hot tubs or relax in the sauna. Then as night falls, sit around a campfire and look at the stars. The night sky is amazing. Sleep well. Great for family reunions or a romantic weekend get away. The main house sleeps 12 with additional sleeping accommodations in the bunkhouse and the yurt (additional charge for bunkhouse ($100.00 per night) and/or yurt ($75.00 per night)). Upstairs in the bunkhouse there is a room with 4 bunk beds (8 single beds). That room has a heat and air unit which keeps that room at a comfortable temperature no matter what time of year. Downstairs in the bunkhouse there is a half bath. Guests who stay in the bunkhouse can use the showers in the main house or in the pool house. Also downstairs in the bunkhouse there is a kitchen area with a full size refrigerator (nice for large groups to have an extra refrigerator to use to store food). Also in the bunkhouse kitchen area there is a microwave for late night snacks for those folks sleeping in the bunkhouse. The yurt has 5 sleeping cots. It also has a small refrigerator. The property has a lot to offer - be sure to look at all the photos. This is a perfect place to settle in. However, if you are up for an adventure, there are many places to see and things to do in Northwest Arkansas. Fayetteville, the home of the University of Arkansas and the Razorbacks is an easy drive - 30 minutes away. Fayetteville has many fine dining restaurants and also is home to the Walton Arts Center which hosts many cultural events. Bentonville, where the world famous Crystal Bridges Museum is located, is less than an hour away. Close by Crystal Bridges is a dynamic new children's museum - Amazeum. Welcome.

The property has over 15 waterfalls, the cabin sits right next to the base of a mountain. There is a ten stall barn if you are riding the equestrian trails, your horses are welcome to stay. The property is located on beautiful Horsehead Lake in the Ozark Mountains! The main cabin will sleep 10, the second cabin sleeps 6, and the bunkhouse/theater room sleeps another 8! There is also a separate detached full bathroom behind the main cabin which offers complete privacy. The property has its own private dock (shared with other guest from our other cabin) and comes complete with kayaks, a canoe and paddle boat at no additional charge! There are two outdoor cooking areas. One is located on the front porch of the main cabin while the other area is located on the front porch of the bunkhouse/theater room. Open the sliding barn doors and cook while enjoying the big screen tv! Every living room and bedroom has TVs. All with DISH TV. The property offers a sand volleyball court, horse shoe pit, bocce ball court, basketball goal and corn hole! We take pride in making sure that all beds are extremely comfortable. The AC systems throughout will have you looking for extra blankets if you so desire! We also provide a few fishing poles in case you don’t have any or forgot something. Tackle and bait not included. Nestled in the Ozarks (near Fayetteville and Devil's Den State Park), this unique, 'modern' cabin is only 18 miles south/or 20 minutes from Fayetteville's city limits and 4 miles from Devil's Den State Park which has terrific vistas, hiking trails, swimming, etc. (Also, Devil's Den State Park is the location of the filming of HBO's hit tv series "True Detective" Season 3.) Buckhorn OHV Trail System, which is in the Ozark National Forest and has over 70 miles of available trails for ATV riders, is in close proximity to the cabin. This is an ideal place not only to enjoy the fun of Fayetteville (Razorback games, Dickson Street, wonderful restaurants and festivals) but also to visit sites in surrounding areas, such as the Victorian village of Eureka Springs, Lake Fort Smith Park for boating and kayaking, Crystal Bridges Museum, etc. Arkansas Razorback fans are only a 20 minute drive from the stadium, plus other Northwest Arkansas festivals throughout the year are close by, such as Bikes Blues and Barbeque, NWA Craft Fair, and the Fayetteville Roots Festival. Not only can you enjoy city life but also enjoy the solitude and beauty of a relaxing getaway with terrific views and fresh air! The best of both worlds are available here. As one guest stated, 'Wow! This cozy cabin contains numerous amenities --- custom kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dinnerware, stemware, basic utensils (plus additional ones---bowls, cookie sheet, cutting board, kitchen towels, spatulas, coffee pot/with coffee provided, crock pot, blender, mixer, wine opener, and many other full kitchen essentials etc.) An antique pub table, which extends, and chairs add a nostalgic touch and the table is large enough for comfortable seating. A large living area, which comfortably sleeps 4, contains the following: a queen-size bed, 2 nightstands, a leather queen-size sofa/ hide-a-bed, lamps, and a recliner. We also have a folding single bed tucked away, if desired. Other amenities provided are as follows: a/c, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable, a DVD player, and WiFi, an iron and ironing board. Numerous brochures and information about local sites and events of interest are tucked in a basket on the kitchen counter. Otherwise, you'd never realize all the wonderful things offered in the area! The updated bathroom has a custom granite sink with full tub/shower and numerous essentials: towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash/soap, hair dryer, clothes hamper, closet, etc.). A washer and dryer are also available on the premises. The grounds surrounding the cabin are as beautiful and user-friendly as the cabin interior. The cabin also affords both front and back porches with chairs, etc. so our guests can relax and enjoy the wonderful views. In the back yard, a picnic table, chairs, glider seat, barbeque pit and fire pit are at your disposal. (Firewood is provided by us.) ** Guests will need to provide all other items, such as charcoal, lighter fluid, etc. Also, both an open and covered parking space/s are available for vehicles or motorcycles. Guest safety is important to us; therefore, the cabin contains a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, First Aid Kit, and Safety Card with emergency information. Since we are kid-friendly, we've included some card games, chess, and others activities for your pleasure. (A minimum stay of 2 nights is required in order to rent.) This beautiful cabin is directly on the Mulberry River in Oark Arkansas. You will not find a better location. The cabin is rustic but has all the modern conveniences of home. The cabin is within 1/2 mile from Oark General Store and 2.5 miles from Catalpa Café. You can ride on miles and miles of back roads and trails to explore the Ozark National forests. The River is perfect for swimming, canoeing, or for just sitting on the porch and listening to it flow over the rocks. You will enjoy your stay regardless of the time of year. A propane grill is provided and I would bring some firewood for the porch swing fire pit. We also have a full rv hook up for and additional $30/night.
